Summer on The Canal
I can not go a summer without traveling to some beaming country in Europe where the croissants are baked fresh and the wine is aged.
Amsterdam is no exception! though I been a dozen times it is one of my favorite cities to get lost within over and over again!
On The Canal
Fun: Fact: there are more bridges in Amsterdam than Venice
Life on the Canal is exceptional with a variety of activities such as art museums, restaurants, boat tours and the Opera.
Walk the canal, select a boat tour and enjoy yourself! There are boat tours for the lovers, historians and for anyone who cares to venture out onto the water.
If you can’t make the Tulip Festival in which the Netherlands are known for, indulging in Patat which means fries in Dutch, is a tasty treat savored in any sauce of your choice while exploring.
Fries with that?
I would also personally suggest attending one of the oldest bars in Amsterdam called Wynand Fockink where traditional you Nippen which is to sip from your glass with no hands.
Amsterdam will always be at the top of my list when it comes to summertime travel out of convince and quality. The city is easy to maneuver and get lost within.
Wether on bike or boat, a visit to the Netherlands is a must for Dutch lessons!
